Identic has more than 30 years experience in the development and manufacture of spill free re-fuelling and vehicle identification systems specifically for the bus, coach and fleet industries. A high percentage of bus Companies in Scandinavia and the Benelux countries use Identic for their re-fuelling needs. Installations in the UK are still going strong after 13 years.

The spill free method is tried, tested and unique to Identic. With this method rapid re-fuelling up to 120 litres per minute is available. The financial and environmental benefits are quite outstanding. Fuel cost savings could be easily be a minimum of £10000 per annum at a depot operating say 200 buses. This is calculated on an average of 0.5 litres of fuel spilt during each manual re-fuelling.
SOME ADVANTAGES
1/ Clean fuel island & working area.
2/ Cleaner bus or coach paintwork & windows.
3/ Much faster and cleaner fuelling of vehicles reducing congestion around depot.
4/ Fuelling personnel can be given additional tasks.
5/ No spilt diesel transfered to the bus paintwork and wash brushes.
6/ Less frequent interceptor emptying.
7/ No spilt fuel meaning huge fuel savings.
8/ Health & Safety issues addressed and fewer slip accidents.
9/ Clean depot appearance.
10/ No more overfilled buses leaking fuel due to fuel expansion in tank
11/ No more buses running out of fuel. Each vehicle will be fuelled to the maximum optimum level. Everyday.
On a fuel island awash with fuel the shunter's & cleaners feet spread fuel through-out the bus or coach, creating an unpleasant smell for the passengers and drivers. The interior flooring soon become dirty and unsightly.
Identic's CE-90mk4 terminal Spill free fuelling a new Citaro 'bendy bus'
The CE-90 Mk4 terminal forms part of the Identic AT-1 Automatic Refuling System. The CE90 terminal controls the refueling process and all the associated equipment in a vehicle refuelling lane. This includes the method of vehicle identification, the control of valves etc, and communication with the Identic MM90 data control unit.
The Mk4 terminal is significantly different from the previous models. Below is a summary of the main changes and new features.
Environmental considerations need to be taken in to account these days. Environmental pollution is now very expensive and constantly in the public eye. The cost of cleaning spillage in the depot, Health & Safety considerations, slipper work areas, parking areas with overfilled fuel leaking from parked vehicles, cost of cleaning interceptors, cost of replacing damaged vehicles washes, spilled fuel transferred via the vehicle wash to the next bus. and the unsightly look of a vehicle with derv markings down the paint work. It is not just the smell of spilt fuel which can be unpleasant but also now with the use of increased cocktails of performance additives there are carcinogenic health risks as well. Vapour produced will re-fuelling can also be taken care of with the Identic vapour recover system.
The IdenticAT-Mini control cabinet is both simple to use and install. The AT-Mini is a stand alone spill free system, providing fast, safe, and controlled fuelling. It can also be connected to an existing card reader terminal to allow authorisation before re-fuelling. This is a cost effective ideal for locations of environmental sensitivity, such as Port Authorities and Marinas.
The AT-Mini is designed for low cost spill free re-fuelling only. If you require full control over refuelling information, data collection and authorisation, then the Identic AT-1 is needed.
