Real time tank monitoring
Petro-link gateway is using the most advanced communications technology to-date. Once installed gateway is not just another gimmick to be forgotten once the system has gone down faulty or the batteries are dead. Gateway is constantly monitored 24/7 365 days of the year. Faults are reported automatically by the intelligence in the software to enable us to either contact the site location or dispatch an engineer to investigate and repair.
Coverage?
Petro-link gateway has UK wide coverage (Pan-Europe is possible through a partnership).
Security?
Advanced Internet Communication Protocol (ESP) is hard-coded in all field units and is unique to petro-link gateway's secure GPRS network dedicated to data communication. Unlike voice network this network is dedicated and suitable for industrial application encrypted data to reduce error and increase data security.
Automatic health status checking?
Each gateway field unit has a built-in intelligence and will self-diagnose faults while in service, even down to cut cables or power failure. This information is forwarded to our centre to be analysed and rectified.
Power supply options?
Should a 12vdc power supply not be available then long life batteries can be used lasting up to 2 - 3 years, this battery life will be constantly monitored automatically and once the voltage passes our threshold the batteries will be changed. Systems will not fail due to batteries running flat.
Auto-Learning System
This means installation is simple and will register automatically without complicated configuration and calibration.
Technology Updating
Currently petro-link gateway is using GPRS as our data transmission, the software and components are also the latest available. As with all software and hardware these systems can soon become out of date. We do not want petro-link to fall behind or support old technology in the future, we therefore upgrade to the latest and fastest products through our on-going service support.

Storage tanks are monitored 24/7 by the Gateway transmitters. The tank status can be viewed via the data log accessed from our web-site. The tank probes are located to indicate when a tanks stock levelis sufficiently low to enable a complete tanker or compartment delivery ensuring maximum efficiency for logistics routing.
